Schaumburg-Hoffman Rotary Club holding virtual gala March 13

The Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates is honoring community heroes at its virtual gala fundraiser from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 13.

Approximately 325 guests are expected to tune into the virtual event hosted by NBC News Anchor Natalie Martinez. It features a grand prize drawing, entertainment by Yazz Jazz, an online auction and a few surprises along the way.

Five cash prizes will be awarded including the grand prize of $10,000. A grand prize drawing ticket can be purchased at scherotary.org or by contacting rotaryshe50@gmail.com. Ticket sales will close promptly at noon March 13.

There also will be opportunities to bid on auction items, such as a Hilton Head condo package, Wisconsin escape, pool party, sports collectibles and experiences, restaurant gift cards, Frank Lloyd Wright walking tour, and theater tickets, among others. Auction will be live from noon on Wednesday, March 10 until Saturday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. Purchase a virtual admission ticket for access to the online auction at betterunite.com/RotaryclubofSHE-Classic. A link will be sent prior to the event.
