Winfield hires new finance director
The village of Winfield has hired Susan Mika to be its new finance director.
Mika most recently has worked as the assistant finance director for Bolingbrook since 2012.
Her hiring follows a competitive recruitment process conducted this winter to fill the position left open by the departure last fall of longtime finance director Lynn McCammon, who accepted a position in Holland, Michigan.
Mika, a graduate of North Central College, previously worked for DuPage County, the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and Yorkville. She begins work on Monday, March 15.
