Watch forum between candidates for Mount Prospect village board

Watch candidates for a the Mount Prospect village board take part in a joint interview with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board.

The hourlong exchange involving Agostino Filippone, Terri Gens, Peggy Pissarreck and write-in candidate Brian Maye was recorded on Zoom on February 19. Candidates discussed topics ranging from downtown development to the controversy over a "thin blue line" emblem sewn into the patch worn by village police.

The election takes place on April 6. Mail-in voting begins on March 10, with early in-person voting to follow soon after.
