Watch Wauconda's mayoral candidates discuss the issues

Watch the candidates for Wauconda mayor take part in a joint interview with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board.

The 50-minute exchange between candidates Sandra Jo McLain and Jeff Sode was recorded Feb. 24 on Zoom. The candidates discussed issues ranging from the village's handling of the COVID-19 crisis to boosting the local business community to village officials' responsiveness to community members.

The election takes place on April 6. Mail-in and early in-person voting begins in Lake County on March 12.
