Be a donor in the Palatine Township Easter Basket Program

This spring, you can make a child smile by donating an Easter basket to the Palatine Township Easter Basket Program.

Palatine Township coordinates this annual program, which provides Easter baskets to financially disadvantaged children ages 10 and younger.

Palatine Township reaches out to local churches, businesses, organizations and residents to donate baskets filled with edible treats and small toys.

Register as a donor online at palatinetownship-il.gov/easter-basket-donor. If you register online, Palatine Township will send you an email with the recipient child's information. Or you can stop by the Palatine Township Center, 721 S. Quentin Road, in Palatine, and sign out an egg cutout, which will include a child's first name, age, gender and assigned number.

Registration will be open through March 22; baskets will be due to the township March 26.

The township will distribute the baskets safely, just as it did in 2020, with a curbside pickup.

You can also make a tax-deductible donation to the Needy Family Fund to benefit this program. As with other outreach programs that occur on a yearly basis, Palatine Township identifies local in-need families whose children are recipients of the Easter Basket Program.
