Chicago-area Ford dealerships: #FORwarDtheLOVE to local small businesses this Valentine's Day season

Small businesses and individuals across Chicagoland continue to make sacrifices to keep our communities safe and our residents healthy.

As we forge ahead on a path toward recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic, Chicago-area Ford dealerships are coming together to infuse optimism, perseverance, and LOVE into our communities through the #FORwarDtheLOVE campaign.

Through Feb. 14, dealerships are showing some love for small businesses in their communities â€" and asking their followers to do the same â€" by celebrating and honoring local businesses on social media. Some of the things you might see include:

• Words of encouragement

• Memories about the business

• Stories about community partnerships

• Something inspiring the business has done in the community

• A positive review of the business

• A great experience with a manager or team member

"This past year hasn't been easy on anyone, especially small business owners and our teams," shared Jenny Yockey, community relations manager at Friendly Ford of Roselle. "Whether it's a word of encouragement, a glowing review or just a fond memory, anything we can do to lift spirits of our fellow businesses within our community, we're all in."

Chicago-area Ford dealerships are encouraging residents and small businesses alike to share a story, review or word of encouragement for a local business, tagging the business on social media and including the #FORwarDtheLOVE hashtag.

Please join us in forwarding positivity, optimism and LOVE throughout Chicagoland this Valentine's Day season!
