Educational toy companies make donation to Toys for Tots

On Dec. 21, the Vernon Hills-based toy companies Learning Resources and hand2mind, in addition to their sister company Educational Insights, donated $800,000 worth of toys and resources to Toys for Tots, an organization that has given out toys to less fortunate children for more than 75 years.

With the help of the Marine Corps Reserve, the toys were picked up and delivered to children around the local Chicago area. These educational toys and resources will provide a meaningful experience to children during the jolliest time of the year.

Learning Resources, Educational Insights and hand2mind are pleased to offer these educational toys to children for the holidays, furthering the companies' mission to bring learning to life and making sure every child receives a gift this holiday season.
