OBITUARY: BARBARA C. NOLAN OF NORTHBROOK

Barbara C. Nolan, 96, of Northbrook passed away Monday, Dec. 28, at home.

Wife of the late Michael J. Nolan; mother of Michael (Diane), Margaret, Gregory (late Karen); grandmother to Brian (Taylor); great grandmother (GG) to C.J., Kyle, Lexa and Lilly; sister-in-law to Robert Nolan; aunt to many nieces and nephews; also survived by her caregiver and companion of many years, Yvette. Preceded in death by her sister, Joanne Beneventi.

Barbara has been a resident of Northbrook since 1949 and was a lifelong member of the Village Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school and was involved with the Women's Guild.

She was also an organizational member and past president of the Northbrook Historical Society, in which she stayed involved until 10 years ago. Mother and Dad were avid postcard collectors and dealers, traveling all over the U.S. to various shows.
