Park Ridge Office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago Donated to Maine Township Food Pantry
The Park Ridge office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago and the firm's philanthropic arm, the Kindness Foundation, announced that they donated to the Maine Township Food Pantry this year. The money was part of a $40,000 donation pool distributed to local food pantries in December. The Park Ridge office chose to support the Maine Township Food Pantry because they provide emergency food pantry supplies to approximately 300 Maine Township residents every month.
Michael Mazzei, senior vice president and regional managing broker of the Park Ridge office said, "The Maine Township Food Pantry does such an amazing job of helping residents with emergency food supplies and we are just happy to be able to give them some extra assistance."
The Park Ridge office was one of the company's 19 participating offices throughout Chicagoland, as well as in Indiana and Michigan. Each office chose a 501(c)(3) organization from their local community to support and embody the mission of the Kindness Foundation which is to support meaningful local initiatives that improve the communities the company serves and enhances the quality of life for fellow citizens.
