Bears injury list grows ahead of Packers game
Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson missed practice yet again Thursday. Johnson hasn't played since injuring his shoulder Dec. 13 against the Houston Texans at Soldier Field.
Johnson has missed two consecutive games and hasn't practiced at all since the injury. The 21-year-old has a history with shoulder injuries, including labrum surgery this past offseason.
Defensive backs Buster Skrine (concussion) and Deon Bush (foot), along with receiver Allen Robinson (hamstring) all missed practice Thursday as well.
Skrine hasn't played since suffering a concussion on Dec. 6 against the Detroit Lions. Robinson missed some practice time due to his hamstring injury last week, but still played on Sunday.
The Bears have been thin in the secondary lately with Skrine, Johnson and Bush dealing with injuries. Defensive backs Kindle Vildor and Duke Shelley each saw a significant rise in playing time during the past two games.
Tight end Demetrius Harris (foot), tight end Cole Kmet (shoulder), left tackle Charles Leno (toe), linebacker Khalil Mack (shoulder) and receiver Cordarrelle Patterson (knee) were all listed as limited participants in practice Thursday.
Defensive tackle Akiem Hicks returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice due to an illness.
The Bears host Green Bay Sunday with a playoff spot on the line.
