Sign up for 'Birding the Winter Rivershore' nature program Jan. 22

Enjoy the changing season as you hike, look, and listen for the birds inhabiting local forest preserves this winter.

Forest Preserve District naturalists will cover basic bird identification skills and share a few interesting stories along the way.

Join the "Birding the Winter Rivershore" from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at Fox River Shores Forest Preserve, 701 N. Williams Road in Carpentersville.

This free program is for all-ages. Advance registration is required for "Birding the Winter Rivershore" program.

Masks are required at all programs. Group sizes will be limited to 10 people. Frequent hand sanitizing or hand-washing is encouraged. Stay home if you are sick or experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms.
