St. Charles police raise money for Lazarus House
The St. Charles Police Department overcame a hairy situation for a good cause.
Members of the department participated in a "No-Shave November" fundraiser in an effort to raise money for Lazarus House in St. Charles. The department ended up raising $2,100 to benefit local residents.
Lazarus House provides shelter, food and a wide range of services to people in need in Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles and throughout western Kane County. Donations can be made at lazarushouse.net with payments by PayPal or credit card. Checks can be mailed to Lazarus House at 214 Walnut Street, St. Charles, 60174.
