Patterson, Hicks miss Bears practice Wednesday
Bears receiver/running back Cordarrelle Patterson (knee), defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (ankle) and tight end Demetrius Harris (foot) sat out practice Wednesday.
Head coach Matt Nagy said Monday Patterson would be day-to-day this week. Patterson suffered the injury Sunday against the Vikings. He was just voted into the Pro Bowl as a kick returner.
"I hope that he's able to go," Nagy said. "We're kind of at that point right now where you're at the end of the year and there's a bunch of bumps and bruises."
Also, three defensive backs remained out of practice Wednesday due to injuries. Jaylon Johnson (shoulder), Buster Skrine (concussion) and Deon Bush (foot) all sat out practice. All three missed Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Defensive backs Kindle Vildor and Duke Shelley saw significant playing time Sunday with those three out.
The Bears moved practice indoors Wednesday and did a walk-through, rather than a full padded practice. Nagy said he simply wanted his players to get a little more rest during this late stage of the season.
