Bears' CB Johnson questionable for Sunday, Skrine out
Bears rookie cornerback Jaylon Johnson missed practice again Friday due to a shoulder injury and is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Minnesota. Johnson missed the entire week of practice after injuring his shoulder last week against the Houston Texans.
Defensive back Buster Skrine (concussion) is officially out for Sunday's game. It will be Skrine's second consecutive missed game.
Other players questionable for Sunday are defensive back Deon Bush (foot), tight end Jimmy Graham (hip), linebacker Khalil Mack (shoulder) and linebacker James Vaughters (knee).
Mack returned to limited practice participation after missing Thursday's practice. Mack was on the injury report last week, too, with a shoulder injury, but still played against Houston. Bears defensive tackle Akiem Hicks was limited in practice Thursday and Friday in order to rest, but doesn't have an injury designation for this week's game.
Bears head coach Matt Nagy said earlier this week that Johnson's injury happened on a goal-line play when he tackled Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. Nagy didn't specify which shoulder Johnson injured.
A shoulder injury is noteworthy for Johnson because he has had multiple shoulder surgeries over the years, including labrum surgery on his right shoulder prior to this season. Johnson, 21, has played in every game this season for the Bears.
