Salvation Army Aurora needs volunteers for Angel Tree program Dec. 17-18

More than 1,200 families will receive toys for Christmas through The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program.

Bags of toys will be placed in the family's vehicle outside of the warehouse, the former Aldi Store (next to Ace Hardware) at 2134 W. Galena in Aurora, IL, 60506.

It will be Thursday, Dec. 17, from 8:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Friday, Dec. 18, from 12:30 to 5 p.m.

To ensure that all children have a gift to open for Christmas, The Salvation Army identifies families in need through our corps community centers and social service programs. With more families facing hardship this year, the need to serve those most vulnerable is greater than ever before.
