Denise Hale Installed as 2021 Treasurer of the Chicago Dental Society

December 2, 2020 (CHICAGO) A general dentist with more than 30 years of experience, Denise Hale, D.D.S., of Orland Park, Illinois, was installed as Treasurer of the Chicago Dental Society (CDS) on November 8. Dr. Hale has previously held multiple leadership positions with CDS' Englewood Branch, including Director and President.

As Treasurer, Dr. Hale will oversee CDS finances and help with preparations for the 156th Midwinter Meeting, taking place virtually February 25-27, 2021. The Midwinter Meeting is CDS' annual scientific meeting and one of the dental industry's premier events. This year's virtual format will offer attendees access to courses taught by world-class speakers and today's leaders in dental innovation, live exhibits, and networking opportunities with colleagues and friends, all from the comfort and convenience of their office, home or even on the go.

In addition to her leadership roles with CDS, Dr. Hale is an American Dental Association Delegate and Vice President of Dental Lifeline. She has also served on the Illinois State Dental Society Board of Trustees and PR Committee, currently serves as the Recruitment and Retention Team Leader, and is involved with their Membership and Governmental Affairs Committees. She is also involved with Dent IL PAC, where she has served as President, Membership Chair, and currently is Director for the Englewood Branch. In addition, Dr. Hale is a Clinical Instructor at University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry and has lent her time and expertise as a volunteer at the Chicago Dental Society Foundation Clinic.

Dr. Hale has a bachelor's degree from Loyola University of Chicago and earned her dental degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. Dr. Hale lives in Palos Hills, Illinois and has two children, Christian and Sara, who live in southwest Florida. When she's not working, which she loves most, she enjoys cooking, baking, playing cards and board games. She is also extremely proud of her students at UIC College of Dentistry.
