Santa to spread cheer with ride through Wood Dale Dec. 5

Since Santa can't make his traditional visit to the Wood Dale City Hall this year, he's going visit the residents instead.

On Saturday, Dec. 5, from 1 to 3 p.m., Santa will ride through the city and wave to his friends.

While he can't visit every street in town, a route was developed to allow everyone to see him without traveling far from their home.

The city staff ask that anyone assembling along the route follow current Illinois Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for gatherings including limiting the number of people in groups, wearing a mask and maintaining social distance.
