St. Charles Library to present virtual 'A Visit from St. Nicholas' reading

Residents are encouraged to register for a virtual reading of "A Visit from St. Nicholas" being presented by the St. Charles Public Library.

Educational entertainer Martina Mathisen will deliver the interactive reading of Clement Moore's famous poem at 7 p.m. Dec. 8. She'll also speak about the history of Christmas traditions such as kissing under mistletoe, decorating poinsettias and Santa Claus.

When registering for the event at the library's website, residents should include an email address to receive a link to the Zoom presentation.
