Invest in children's future with Fox Valley United Way on Giving Tuesday Dec. 1
On Dec. 1, Fox Valley United Way invites you to join Giving Tuesday to positively change the community by investing in our children and their futures.
Last year, the SPARK program was able to change the lives of 2,394 children by providing them the necessary resources to build a strong foundation to achieve success in school and life.
The goal is for all children to be strong, prepared, and ready for kindergarten
Bright futures start with the first five years. The long-term health and welfare of a community is directly tied to the health and welfare of its children.
Those who are "Strong, Prepared And Ready for Kindergarten" have a significantly greater chance for success in school and in life. That's why Fox Valley United Way is committing all of its resources to promoting positive early childhood experiences. The impact of the SPARK program has proved that to advance the common good. We need to ensure that area children have what they need to succeed.
A donation of $20 provides five books for the Fox Valley Little Libraries. There are currently five Fox Valley Little Libraries around the community and they are free for anyone that wants to use them.
These books help children not only build early literacy skills but they also build their social emotional skills, math skills, and so much more.
A donation of $100 provides six families with math activity kits. These kits are full of activities, books and games for families to play and read together while at home. Which is needed now more than ever before. They are a fun and easy way for parents to spark a love of learning.
This Giving Tuesday, Fox Valley United Way invites you to join the fight and be the spark that lights the path to a child's bright future.
