6-month sentence for Wheaton man on child porn charge

A Wheaton man was sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty to possession of child pornography.
Peter Agosto, 25, of the 0-100 block of Sterling Circle, entered the plea Wednesday.
He will begin serving his sentence Feb. 1.
The case was investigated by Wheaton police and the DuPage County Sheriff's Office Digital Forensic Investigation Unit.
Agosto initially was charged with six counts of possession of child pornography. Authorities say he had video files, depicting a child under the age of 13, on Jan. 21 and May 19.
He was arrested May 19.
Agosto will not be allowed to use the internet without prior approval of a probation officer, except for work or looking for employment.
