It's All About The Paws hosts adoption event Oct. 10-11

It's All About The Paws will host its sixth annual adoption event from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10-11, at Baker Memorial Park off Cedar and Fifth avenues in historic downtown St. Charles.

The event will take place during the Scarecrow Stroll, this year's alternative to Scarecrow Fest.

Every year, It's All About The Paws invites local rescues to participate. They also receive donations, raffles, gift cards, etc. from local companies, dog-loving companies, and support from the community. All proceeds raised go directly to the rescues involved.

Over the past six years, they have raised over $10,000 and over 50 animals have been adopted through the rescues that have participated in the adoption event.

The proceeds before and during the event will go to the rescues attending. These proceeds significantly help rescues in continuing to save and care for more animals, such as medical attention, supplies (food, crates, toys, etc.), training, and more.

To raise as much money as possible for the rescues attending, they will have raffle baskets to auction off, games, and merchandise for sale.
