Candidate nomination packets available starting Sept. 22 in Roselle

Candidate nomination packets for Roselle mayor, village clerk, and three trustee seats will be available for pickup at the Roselle Village Hall, 31 S. Prospect St., starting Tuesday, Sept. 22.

These seats will be on the ballot for the April 6 consolidated election.

Pursuant to election law, nominating petitions for the April 6, 2021, election may not be circulated until Sept. 22, 2020.

The filing period for nomination packets for these elected positions is Dec. 14 through Dec. 20. During the filing period, the Village Clerk's Office will accept nominating packets at village hall Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Candidate packets are provided as a courtesy of the Village Clerk's Office. Each candidate is urged to seek legal counsel to determine individual requirements for running for elected office.
