Thieves steal purses from Northbrook Court

Ten people were involved in a "grab and run" theft of purses from Neiman Marcus at Northbrook Court just before 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to a report from the village of Northbrook.

According to the news release, the group of individuals - described as young, black males ages 16 to 20 - wore hoodies and masks while they stole an unknown number of purses from the store.

Additionally, a loss prevention agent was struck by one of the subject's fists before the thieves piled into two dark colored SUVs and fled the scene east on Lake-Cook Road. No injuries were reported.
