ECC board candidates can start circulating nominating petitions Sept. 22

Petitions for nomination for trustee of Elgin Community College District 509 may be downloaded at elgin.edu/about-ecc/trustees/trustee-elections/ beginning Tuesday, Sept. 22.

The first day to circulate nominating petitions is Tuesday, Sept. 22, for the April 6, 2021, consolidated election.

A minimum of 50 signatures of registered voters residing in District 509 are needed for a candidate's name to be placed on the ballot.

Illinois community college trustees hold a six-year term of office, and two positions are currently up for the consolidated election, April 6, 2021.
