One sent to hospital after four-car crash in Wheaton

One person was hospitalized after a four-car crash that caused significant traffic delays near Butterfield Road and Leask Lane in Wheaton late Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The individual taken to the hospital suffered injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening, police said.

By 5 p.m., lanes were reopened to traffic.
