Get a Ribfest face mask to benefit Exchange Club of Naperville's programs
As COVID-19 ravaged the summer festivals calendar, the 33rd annual Ribfest, which would have taken place in Romeoville over Independence Day weekend, was postponed out of concern for public health.
The Exchange Club of Naperville, organizers of Ribfest, are heartened to recognize some initial positive feedback from 2020 sponsors and ticket holders who are opting to donate back portions of their 2020 Ribfest sponsorship or ticket purchases instead of receiving full refunds.
“The needs of our partner agencies impacted by this pandemic are great,” said Bob Black, Ribfest chairman. “We deeply appreciate our valued sponsors and ticket purchasers who have already opted to donate back to the Exchange Club of Naperville, despite the lack of a Ribfest festival this year, in order to support its mission to prevent child abuse and domestic violence. We welcome all contributions and interest.”
Some of the Ribfest sponsors that have elected to donate portions of their sponsorship value back to the club are Navistar, Nathan's Famous Beef Franks, Wintrust Community Banks, Anheuser-Busch, and McGil Services.
Every individual and organization that makes a tax-deductible donation of at least $35 receives a RibFest-branded pandemic face mask.
Any donor of $50 of more receives two RibFest-branded masks.
Looking forward to next year, the Exchange Club of Naperville is considering the possibility of engaging the same musical entertainment acts that were originally scheduled for this year's event, for its 2021 Ribfest festival, and will announce developments as they arise.

The Exchange Club of Naperville stresses that “Hope For Tomorrow Happens Today,” and continues to support its partners in ending child abuse in all forms. Its membership is open to anyone who would like to join the crusade to end child abuse.
