Ecker, Renz complete merger; now named Ecker Center for Behavioral Health

The Ecker Center for Mental Health and Renz Addiction Counseling Center have finalized a complete merger as of July 1, 2020 becoming one organization, Ecker Center for Behavioral Health.

The organization unites two complementary agencies, each with similar cultures and excellent reputations for providing behavioral health care services to local communities for decades.

The Renz office at 2 American Way in Elgin will continue to provide their current services. Additional substance use treatment will be offered at the main location at 1845 Grandstand Place in the near future.

"We are excited that our combined organization will be able to provide more accessible and comprehensive health care services for our clients. The merger will offer opportunities for Ecker Center for Behavioral Health to grow as an organization and increase its positive impact on the communities it serves. I look forward to our future as we continue to lead individuals to a healthier life," said CEO Dr. Sandouka.
