York Twp. Food Pantry benefits from local food drive organized by state Rep. Terra Costa Howard

On Wednesday, June 17, state Rep. Terra Costa Howard hand delivered proceeds from a local food drive to the York Township Food Pantry to be distributed to families in need. The food drive was held at Yorktown Center in conjunction with the Village of Lombard's "Be a Hero" summer blood drive.

Supervisor Valle said, "On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the citizens of York Township, especially those who benefit from our food pantry services, I would like to thank State Representative Terra Costa Howard and everyone who donated to the food drive for their support. We are proud to have such generous partners in the fight against hunger in York Township."
