Farmers market to open June 25 in Vernon Hills

The Vernon Hills Park District Farmers Market will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. June 25, at Lakeview Parkway and Hawthorn Parkway on the south end of Century Park.

Fresh produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods and more will be available. The market will be open Thursdays through Oct. 8. More than a dozen vendors will be on hand with more being added weekly.
