Northbrook-based Chicago real estate brokerage Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago, in conjunction with the Kindness Foundation, formerly the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, is kicking off its annual company-wide kindness event. During Community Kindness, agents and staff from the company's 24 offices volunteer their time and talents to organizations in their respective communities. The Kindness Foundation's mission is to support meaningful local initiatives that improve the communities it serves and enhances the quality of life for fellow citizens.

Activities planned for Community Kindness include coordinating Meals for Heroes for frontline medical staff, collecting food for food panties, encouraging blood donations, collecting donations for battered women, children and more.

"Offices thoughtfully chose activities that would have a great impact right here in our local communities.
