Island Lake board to approve annual budget

The Island Lake village board will meet remotely Thursday night to discuss and potentially approve a nearly $7.2 million budget for the 2021 fiscal year, which began May 1.

Officials also are set to cancel an Independence Day parade, a carnival, a car show and outdoor concerts because of the COVID-19 crisis.
