Itasca, Roselle libraries offering curbside service

The Itasca Community Library has launched curbside pickup of library materials and Roselle Public Library is scheduled to follow suit June 9. The Itasca library also will offer home delivery.

Both libraries will have staff equipped with PPE and procedures to ensure services are contactless.

To place holds, patrons can call, email, or go online through their home library and a staff member will contact patrons when materials are ready.

When patrons arrive to pick up items, there will be designated spots with instructions on how to contact each library. Trunks should be open and patrons without vehicles should inform staff they will need to walk up. Staff will not be able to take returns but both libraries' drop boxes are open.

Both libraries' digital resources continue to be available online 24/7. Visit itascalibrary.org and rosellepld.org to learn more about how to download and stream movies, TV shows, eBooks, audiobooks, music and more. Note that each library's digital content is only available to its residents.

Both library buildings remain closed to the public.
