Hinsdale protest pushed to later date

A protest scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in Hinsdale has been postponed, village officials said Tuesday night.

Police Chief Brian King and Deputy Chief Thomas Lillie met with protest organizers in an effort to help plan a peaceful and safe protest for the marchers, residents and business community.

King said a decision was made by the organizers to move the protest to a later date.
