Northwest Circle of Friends is both social and philanthropic
The Northwest Circle of Friends (formerly Welcome Wagon) is a local women's social club and philanthropic organization that was founded in 1972.
Northwest Circle of Friends has a proud history of supporting local charities. The club donates to Palatine Township's Thanksgiving Basket program, the Adopt-a-Family program and helps supply Easter baskets. The club also gives cash donations to local charities.
A variety of social activities are offered for area women including Mahjong, Bridge, Hands and Feet cards and Dominoes.
The Thursday morning bowling league welcomes bowlers of all skill levels. If you can't commit to a league, come out and be a substitute.
Do you love the outdoors? Club members play golf at Palatine Hills and will be holding an organizational meeting soon.
The club hosts monthly coffees and luncheons with entertaining and educational programs. The Casual Cooking group meets monthly in members' homes to cook and share a special lunch. The Breakfast Club meets at local restaurants.
The Flicks for Chicks group enjoys a monthly movie outing, and the Girls' Night Out group plans a monthly outing. Members also help each other out in times of need through the Helping Hands group.
Northwest Circle of Friends invites area women to join the club. For information, contact NorthwestCircleofFriends@gmail.com or mail inquiries to Northwest Circle of Friends, P.O. Box 451, Palatine, IL 60078.
