Wheaton library to offer curbside returns

Wheaton Public Library will offer curbside returns beginning Friday. Materials may be returned to the library curbside only; the regular book returns will remain closed.

When arriving at the library at 225 N. Cross St., patrons will be asked to follow the signs and pull their car up to the drop-off area where staff members will direct traffic. Patrons must then step out of their vehicle and place materials in the designated bins. Materials will be put into a 72-hour quarantine and will be checked in after that time. No fines will be charged while the building is closed.

Return hours will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Curbside returns will be closed once capacity is reached and the bins are full.

The library building remains closed. Visit wheatonlibrary.org for more information and to access the Virtual Library.
