TriCity Family Services' Green Means Go 5K going virtual

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, TriCity Family Services made the decision to restructure its Green Means Go 5K from a road race to a virtual race.

With sincere gratitude to Geneva Women's Club, the Virtual 5K Title Sponsor, the new format allows everyone, everywhere, to safely run, jog or walk a virtual 5K, (3.1 miles), at any time between May 2-9, as they celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month.

Boost your physical and mental health! Practice social distancing while exercising when and where it's convenient for you!

Challenge friends and family to join you on your virtual run!

Register for the 5K. Cost to join the virtual race is $20 or $10 for children and teens. On race day, track your run, then submit your final time to greenmeansgo.itsyourrace.com.

The age awards are custom 5K medals.

Don't forget to wear green in support of Mental Health Month! Snap a selfie and post it to our social media outlets, using hashtag #BeSeenWearGreen.

Now more than ever, this is a great reason to practice self-care and lend support for mental health.
