Capannari Adapts to Stay-at-Home with New Porch Pints

Capannari Ice Cream is pleased to announce a Porch Pint Sale held on May 3 and 4th at their shop at 10 S Pine Street in Mount Prospect, IL.

Capannari Ice Cream opened for their 20th season on March 14, only to shutter the doors the next day due to COVID-19.

The company was lucky enough to have a strong online presence and a community of ice cream lovers both near and far. Shipping with their partners at Goldbelly.com immediately ramped up and enabled them to cushion the blow of closing the retail store one day after kicking off the milestone year.

"We immediately made some pivotal moves to stay afloat. Between the online shipping, our Porch Pint sales, and our amazing community, we will continue to push forward," states Katie Dolan Dix, co-owner.

Customers interested in the Porch Pint Sale can visit www.capannaris.com to order. Every aspect of the sale will coincide with the CDC regulations. A no-contact approach will be in place and there will no money exchanged on-site. The order form on the website enables the customer pay online. Orders will be accepted until 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 30.
