Roselle cancels events through June

Roselle has canceled all special events through June in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayor Andy Maglio announced Friday.

The cancellation notice includes the Flags for Roselle Memorial Day deployment and American Legion ceremony on May 25, the Rose Festival from June 4 through 7, The Run for the Roses and Rose Parade on June 7, the villagewide garage sale June 12 through 13, the Pollyanna Roselare Beer Fest on June 13, and the Flags for Roselle Flag Day deployment on June 14.

Maglio said the decision was made in consultation with the village's public safety chiefs and special event partners.
