Midwest Road exit ramp at I-88 reopened near Oakbrook Terrace

The exit ramp from eastbound Interstate 88 onto Midwest Road near Oakbrook Terrace was reopened late Tuesday morning after a tractor-trailer overturned and caused authorities to close the ramp.

The crash occurred just before 7 a.m., according to traffic website sigalert.com.

There is no word on injuries and WGN aerial footage showed no signs of other vehicles involved in the crash.

Workers spent about four hours getting the vehicle upright and clearing debris.
