Woodridge calls off census events
Based on recommendations from the DuPage County Health Department to help contain the spread of the new coronavirus, the village of Woodridge is canceling three upcoming events promoting the 2020 U.S. Census. Canceled events include: a Census STEM Family Fun Day, which had been set for Saturday, March 21; a Senior Census Lunch at the Library, which had been set for Wednesday, April 1; and a Census Breakfast at the Park District, which had been scheduled for Friday, April 10. For the first time, the U.S. Census Bureau is providing the opportunity to respond to the census by the phone or online. The village of Woodridge encourages residents to participate in the census.
