Woodstock Secretary of State Office re-opens Thursday
The Secretary of State driver's license facility in Woodstock reopened Thursday morning a day after a closure that was attributed to "an abundance of caution" related to the coronavirus.
The driver's license facility posted a sign on its door Wednesday noting an ongoing investigation into a potential indirect exposure to the coronavirus. The office closed as a result of the alleged investigation, but the McHenry County Department of Health later released a statement claiming they were not consulted about the closure.
As of Thursday morning, the office at 428 South Eastwood Drive was open and the sign had been removed. A representative from the Springfield Secretary of State Office confirmed Thursday that the Woodstock facility will continue operate during its normal business hours.
