ZCMS Speller Takes 5th Place at Regional Bee

The Zion Central Middle School Spelling Bee, led by Mrs. Hallak, took place on Thursday, January 16th, 2020. Eighteen students participated in this year's Spelling Bee, and 7th grader Kyra B. took first place.

Kyra then moved on to the Regional Spelling Bee. The Regional Bee took place on Thursday, February 20th, 2020, at Carman-Buckner Elementary School where Kyra took 5th place out of 24 contestants. Congratulations to Kyra and all ZCMS spellers on a job well done!
