Students Enjoy a Camping Experience on Family Night at Hawthorn Elementary North

Hawthorn Elementary North in Vernon Hills was transformed into a virtual campground at its annual Family Reading Night on Feb. 20th. In keeping with the theme CampEN Family Night, students and families read by flashlight in a tent, read books around a "campfire," and enjoyed fun camping themed activities. Elementary North is one of eight schools that comprise Hawthorn School District 73 in Vernon Hills.
