'Mane Event' to feature 'Melodies and Manes' March 14

Field of Dreams Horse Rescue and Adoption, a 501(c)(3) Kane County equine rescue, will hold its 13th annual "Mane Event" on Saturday, March 14. It will begin at 6 p.m. at the Bloomingdale Golf Club, 181 Glen Ellyn Road in Bloomingdale.

This year's theme, "Melodies and Manes," features live music from Ashton Wolf's Dueling Pianos, dinner and silent auction. Proceeds from this event will go to the rescuing, rehabilitation, care and training of horses.

The cost to attend the event is $85 per person until Wednesday, March 4, and $95 after that date.

The ticket price includes one complimentary drink.
