Highland Park, IL - February 5, 2020: The Highland Park Community Foundation's (HPCF) Associate Leadership Council (ALC) will host its first annual Give Where You Live celebration, "Eat, Drink and Play Bocce" on Saturday, February 29th.

Join the HPCF's Associate Leadership Council for a fun-filled evening of entertainment and giving back. "Eat, Drink, and Play Bocce" will feature music, food, games, and an open bar as well as opportunities to help the HPCF support the unmet needs of nonprofit organizations serving Highland Park and Highwood residents. The fundraiser kicks off at 8:00 PM at Highwood Bocce Club, 440 Bank Lane, Highwood. To RSVP, please visit: https://hpcfil.org/give-where-you-live-fundraiser/.

"The Highland Park Community Foundation is honored to support this energetic group of new leaders and their drive to positively impact the community," said David Reich, Chairman, Highland Park Community Foundation.

The dynamic 9-member Associate Leadership Council, launched to raise awareness among Highland Park and Highwood's younger families, is chaired by HPCF Board member Taryn Kessel. This passionate board with young families of their own will engage their peers and invite them to learn more about the needs of the community and how they can help address them. Their dedication to raising funds for the Foundation will assist the HPCF in achieving its mission to improve lives, while increasing awareness about programs and services available to Highland Park and Highwood residents.

"We are looking forward to a successful night dedicated to supporting the residents of Highland Park and Highwood," said Taryn Kessel. "This is an opportunity for the ALC to celebrate with community members and introduce them to the HPCF and the vibrant community organizations that it supports while having a fun night out."
