Dundee-Crown High School hosts 15th annual Music Changes Lives Feb. 16

POMP, Dundee-Crown High School's music booster club, hosts their 15th annual "Music Changes Lives" event from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at the high school.

POMP (or Parents of Music Performers) invites the community to an afternoon of music performances by the Dundee-Crown jazz bands, chamber orchestra, and chamber choir along with a Dundee-Crown Music Student Talent Show and a sneak peek performance from the upcoming spring musical, "The Addams Family."

A silent auction featuring a wide array of items donated by local businesses, a craft fair and a 50/50 raffle will also be available.

Light snacks and beverages will be served. All proceeds benefit POMP's scholarship programs.

"The 'Music Changes Lives' event is a fun way for the DCHS music department to showcase our talented students to our community while raising funds for scholarships," said Christina Cummins, choir director.

Jamie Sanchez, POMP co-chair, added, "We are so proud of all of our students here at DCHS, and it's a pleasure to watch them perform for their families, friends and the community."

Admission is $10 per person; children under 3 are free.
