St. Charles East 78, Foreman 44: Junior Zach Masud led three players in double figures with 13 points in 10 minutes as St. Charles East (19-6) extended its winning streak to 10 with Saturday's nonconference victory over Foreman in St. Charles.
Thomas Ditsworth had 11 points and 4 rebounds, while Zack Clodi scored 10 points with 3 assists and 3 steals for the Saints, who jumped out to a 24-10 first-quarter lead and enjoyed a 64-29 advantage after three quarters.
Brice Clayborn added 9 points, all coming on 3-pointers, and 3 steals for the Saints, who visit St. Charles North Friday night in the battle of 9-1 DuKane Conference co-leaders.
Aurora Christian 77, Lindblom 57: Senior guard Taaj Davis poured in a game-high 22 points during the Eagles' nonconference triumph over Lindblom (11-16) in Saturday's Kivisto Hoopfest at East Aurora.
Sophomore Danny New chipped in with 14 points for Aurora Christian (17-5), which outscored Lindblom 26-13 in the third quarter to turn a 33-31 halftime lead into a 59-44 advantage entering the final period.
Bolingbrook 68, West Aurora 56: After taking a 44-43 third-quarter lead on Christian Nieves' buzzer-beating 3-pointer, the Blackhawks (8-17) were outscored 25-12 down the stretch of their Kivisto Hoopfest clash at East Aurora.
Kelvin Balfour paced the Blackhawks with 16 points.
Isaiah Stafford scored a game-high 20 points for Bolingbrook (21-5).
Crystal Lake South 51, Grant 44: The Gators improved to 9-12 with Saturday's nonconference victory over Grant behind a 19-point performance from 6-foot-6 junior forward Casey Haskin, who shot a perfect 7 for 7 at the free-throw line.
Damir Glamoc added 15 points for Crystal Lake South.
Mikal Ashley tallied 19 points for Grant (6-18).
Hinsdale South 78, Kaneland 48: The Knights (10-11) ran into a buzzsaw during their nonconference loss to Hinsdale South (25-2) Saturday night in Sugar Grove.
Will Cushman scored all 10 of his points in the first quarter for Kaneland, which trailed 27-21 after one period. Teammate Bryce Ebert added 9 points.
Sophomore guard Bobby Durkin led the Hornets with 20 points, including five 3-pointers, while Daeshawn Amy and Aaron Tims added 16 and 14 points, respectively.
Chicago Christian 70, St. Edward 30: Liam Pomeroy scored 10 points with three 3-pointers in a losing effort for the Green Wave (9-19) at Chicago Christian Saturday night.
Jacob Breier and Aidan Franklin added 6 points apiece for St. Edward.
Johnny Dieck scored 10 of his 16 points in the opening quarter for Chicago Christian (18-7), which led 21-6 after 8 minutes.
St. Viator 60, Jacobs 56: William and Mary recruit Connor Kochera poured in a game-high 39 points to lift St. Viator (17-7) to a double-overtime nonconference victory over Jacobs Saturday in Algonquin.
With the loss, the Golden Eagles slipped to 14-12.
