Learn about the 'Shape of Addison' at town hall Jan. 22

The 13th annual "Shape of Addison" town hall meeting will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, in the village hall board room, 1 Friendship Plaza.

This is your opportunity to hear from the board presidents from all six taxing bodies in Addison. Each agency will make a presentation about accomplishments and goals, before the floor is turned over to the community at large.

Speakers for the evening are: Rich Veenstra, mayor of the Village of Addison; Michael Super, president of the Addison Fire Protection District board of trustees; Donna Craft Cain, president of DuPage High School District 88 Board of Education; Dave Williams, president of Addison Elementary School District 4 Board of Education; Frank Angiulo, president of the Addison Park District Board of Commissioners; and Maria Sinkule, president of the Addison Public Library board of trustees.

You are invited to attend the town hall in person, and submit a question in writing to be read by the event moderator.

The town hall will also be broadcast live on Addison Community Television, giving viewers the opportunity to submit a question by phone or email. Addison Community Television is carried on Comcast Cable Channel 6, AT&T U-Verse Channel 99, and is streamed live at www.facebook.com/AddisonEvents.
