Petite Opera Productions, a professional company in Park Ridge, IL, holds auditions for DAS BARBECU Feb 2-9 in Park Ridge and Evanston.
This zany musical theatre spoof spins Wagner's Ring Cycle operas as a witty Texas fable with five actors playing more than 30 outrageous characters at breakneck speed. Songs run the gamut from Broadway to Texas swing, from jazz to twangy country and western. 3 Adult Female and 2 Adult Male roles are available.
Performances run Apr 18-May 10. Rehearsals begin Feb 15.
