Missing Schaumburg man found safe

A 58-year-old Schaumburg man reported missing on Tuesday has been found safe, police announced Thursday.

James C. Straley had last been seen Monday when he rang a neighbor's doorbell and tried to speak to the neighbor. Family members reported him missing the following day, police said.

Schaumburg police thanked the public for its assistance while Straley was missing, but did not disclose information on the circumstances in which he was located.
